Bloodletting: Dublin by Night
Bloodletting opened in 1994. It was a Some of the original staff on Paris played on the original Dublin in a large majority-mortal family named the Fitzheghs. When Dublin-staff eventually got tired of their alleged cross-alt RP, abuse of OOC knowledge and other general attempts at conquering the grid through numbers (and when Dublin-staff failed to drive out the scary "mortals that matter" Fitzhughs by burning, flooding, ghouling, public urinating, and general IC/OOC crossover harassment), the Fitzhughs' players packed up and started their own MUSH elsewhere. The sad part is that Bloodletting is an ancient memory, while Paris is still a work in progress. Also notable for having the first Changeling sphere. It set the pace for all future Changeling spheres by being mostly terrible. There were two versions of Bloodletting: Dublin by Night. The first predated Paris: Les Fleurs du Mal, and is referred to above. The second was a revival attempt that was done after the first closed and Paris had already gone active. Most people were of the opinion that the original Bloodletting was far better than the second attempt.
